A Meaningful Activity
Last week, an annual tree planting activity was held by our school, in which we
students participated actively.
Having gathered at the school gate, we set for the People’s Park with warm morning
glow spreading on our faces. We got the flower seeding from teachers the moment we got at the
destination. Then we started our group work, some cleaning the weeds, some digging small pits,
some taking water from the river nearby. Next, we put the seeds in the pits and watered them
together. Finally, we decided on taking care of these plants regularly.
Not only does the meaningful activity spirit us up, but also reminds us the importance
of protecting the environment. I do love this kind of activity and look forward to more similar
events held by school.
